Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you create an Organizer account, we collect your email, business name, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text). When you connect Stripe, Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly — we never see or store your bank account or card numbers. When a buyer books an event, we store their email and the booking amount so you can see who paid.
2. How we use it
To operate your account, process bookings, show you your dashboard and booking history, and communicate with you about your account (e.g. service updates, support). We do not sell your data or your buyers' data to third parties.
3. What we share, and with whom
We share payment information with Stripe, Inc. to process transactions — governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with any other third party except where required by law.
4. Data retention
We retain account and booking data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after closure to comply with financial recordkeeping obligations related to Stripe transactions.
5. Your rights (California residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents may request access to, deletion of, or details about the personal information we hold about them. Contact us at support@cloudwayhg.com to make a request.
6. Cookies and sessions
We use a single cookie to keep you logged in (a signed session token). It is not used for advertising or tracking. We do not use third-party ad-tracking cookies.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Session cookies are signed and marked HTTP-only. We do not store card or bank details — all sensitive payment data is handled directly by Stripe under its own security and compliance standards (PCI DSS).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the Platform.
